We're looking for a Facilities Engineer to own facility condition assessments and preventive maintenance planning across a portfolio of commercial and industrial sites. You'll work directly with V4MMS — logging findings, prioritizing work orders, and turning inspections into a real maintenance plan rather than a report that sits on a shelf.
- Conduct facility condition assessments and building system inventories across client sites
- Develop and refine preventive maintenance schedules and service-level agreements
- Prioritize work orders and coordinate technician assignments through V4MMS
- Support compliance inspections covering building codes, safety, and environmental requirements
- Prepare capital improvement recommendations based on asset condition and remaining useful life
- Work directly with clients to explain findings and recommended next steps
- Degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or building engineering technology, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 3+ years in facility operations, maintenance planning, or building engineering
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and life-safety building systems
- Comfortable spending time on-site and in the field, not just behind a desk
- Strong written communication — you'll be producing assessment reports clients actually read
- Experience with a CMMS or maintenance management platform
- P.Eng license or actively working toward licensure
- Background in commercial or industrial property management
