V4EnerLens turns years of utility billing data into validated, benchmarked reports — and that validation is done by people, not just software. As an Energy Data Analyst, you'll process incoming utility data, apply our indexing models, and make sure every report that reaches a client is accurate before it goes out.
- Process and validate incoming utility bill data across electricity, gas, and water
- Apply EnerLens's indexing models, adjusting for weather, occupancy, and building characteristics
- Build and quality-check monthly client reports before delivery
- Identify anomalies or irregular consumption patterns worth flagging to clients
- Support benchmarking and portfolio-wide analysis across multiple properties
- Work with the software team to improve how data flows through the platform
- Degree in engineering, environmental science, data analytics, or a related field
- Strong data-handling skills — comfortable in Excel with large, imperfect datasets
- Understanding of energy accounting or utility billing is a strong plus
- Detail-oriented — this work directly informs numbers clients make decisions from
- Clear written communication for explaining findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with SQL or Python for data processing
- Background in sustainability, energy management, or building performance
- Familiarity with LEED, ENERGY STAR, or similar benchmarking frameworks
